Meet Eugene and Cor,

Eugene was introduced to Argentine Tango in 2010. He relishes how tango connects people through the tango embrace and its social elements, and enjoys travelling to tango festivals and competitions to meet dancers from all over the world.

Cor has been dancing from a young age and practised Chinese dance, ballet and jazz. In 2010, she came across the Argentine tango and became attached ever since. Fascinated by the beauty and contradictions of tango and its culture; she learnt to surrender and adapt herself to the embrace as a couple, while striving to remain true to her unique personality.

Following their passion for Tango, they travelled to Buenos Aires in 2019 and stayed there for eight months to immerse in the culture, enjoy the milongas, and learn from the very best. They performed in 'Show de fin de año' by Pablo Giorgini and Noelia Coletti at the Teatro Empire in Buenos Aires.

They believe that tango is a lifelong learning process and they look forward to sharing the joy of tango with more friends along the way. They are keen to share their passion and knowledge not only in the technique of the dance, but also on the understanding of the culture and philosophy.
